SOLAR AND UV CONTROLLED INSULATED GLASS PRODUCTS

A big range of processed insulated glass units from different glass manufacturer (Glaverbel – AGC, Versalux, Pilkington, Cardinal, Guardian, Saint-Goban, etc), to meet both local and international standards and regulations.

TEMPERED AND HEAT STRENGTHEN SAFETY GLASS

“Heat-treated glass” is a general term used in the glass fabrication industry to describe glass that has been processed through a tempering oven to change its strength and breakage characteristics (i.e., the size and/or shape of the glass pieces after breakage). There are two distinct heat-treated products, heat-strengthened glass and fully tempered glass. Compared to annealed glass (nonheat-treated glass), both have increased strength to resist higher levels of impact, mechanical load and thermal stress. Heat-strengthening adds strength to the glass while limiting the change in its breakage characteristics. Tempered glass is stronger than heat-strengthened glass and significantly reduces the broken piece sizes to meet the safety glazing standards.

BENT GLASSES

Curved glass. Also known as bent glass, curved glass is glass that has been reheated and shaped, usually over a metal mold, to a desired bend or curvature, and left to cool in that position.

LAMINATED AND SOUND PROTECTION GLASS

Shielding a building’s environment from increasing noise levels, especially near airports and busy highways, is a critical factor in the specification of glazing materials for both new and renovated structures. Laminated glass is a proven effective solution for acoustical protection; however it adds impact resistance and improved control of solar energy, and is specially used for handrails and balustrades.

3. Polished & Bevelled

In addition to the supply of architectural glass, we also process all kinds of polished or beveled edges glass which is normally used for internal decorative applications like handrails, shelves, table tops, aquariums and frameless glass partitions. However, sand blasting can be applied on the surface of the glass to give an opaque view and also to create any design requested by customers.

Moreover, SAS Middle EastGlass supplies all types of silver and colored mirrors with all possible edges process in which these items are also used for internal decorative applications.

4. Sand Blasted
